Job Opportunity: Video Editing and Post-Production Specialist

EngageMedia is seeking expressions of interest from video editors with comprehensive post-production skills who will work on a range of EngageMedia projects, including (but not limited to) video podcasts, short documentaries with mixed media, and motion graphics editing.
The preferred contractor will work closely with our Video Lead on a per-video basis.
We seek those who are also aligned with our organisation’s wider goals towards social and environmental justice, and who have some experience in working with not-for-profits.
The consultancy starts as soon as possible and is open to anyone based in the Asia-Pacific, but with a preference for applications from South or Southeast Asia.

Call for Applications: “Tech Tales: Films about digital rights in the Asia-Pacific
EngageMedia invites filmmakers, video journalists, and animators across the Asia-Pacific to produce short films on important digital rights issues happening in our region, as told with our voices and from our perspectives.
Filmmakers will be awarded between USD 3,000 to 5,000 each for film production. EngageMedia, along with an Advisory Board, will be selecting up to eight candidates who will each be producing a short film (6 to 12 mins) on digital rights. In particular, we are looking for documentaries, fiction, animation, and other short narrative video productions.
The works produced will be part of the July 2021 film collection, “Tech Tales: Films about digital rights in the Asia-Pacific”. More details on the timeline and specific processes will be discussed with successful candidates.
